DULLES, VA, FEBRUARY 2, 2016 – Concert Technologies announced today at the BICSI Winter conference a partnership for the Cabling Icon and Radford University in expanding the public awareness for this one-of-a-kind Information Communications Technology (ICT) contest. The Cabling Icon contest is an annual contest, which has run for four consecutive seasons, with contest winners receiving more than $45,000 in cash and prizes and, through a partnership with BICSI, provides a scholarship to one of their cabling installation programs.
“Working with Radford University’s Public Relation Student Society of America (PRSSA) allows students to experience and learn how to really make a difference in our contest and the ICT community. They are committed to expanding awareness to the Cabling Icon contest which, in turn, helps ICT installers and technicians perfect their skills and receive recognition to expand their job opportunities and career path,” said Dennis Mazaris, creator of Cabling Icon.
“Partnering with Cabling Icon has given us deep insight into the professional world. The company has equipped us with hands on experience and skills vital for our future, which we are very grateful for,” said Robin Perkins, President of Radford University PRSSA.
